Featured Books
Our bilingual picture books combine English or German with traditional Tibetan and loving illustrations. Whether the heart-warming collection «Lungta» or gentle companions like «A Lotus in Every Heart»: every book brings calm, joy and inspiration to the whole family.
Coming soon: the picture book «The Boy from the Lotus» and the manga «Nola – The Light Within You», based on the songs of Lungta Sounds – both in English and German.
Music by Lungta Sounds: listen to the songs behind our stories everywhere – the new single «My Golden Hour» and the album «Midnight Songs».
Our World
Explore the world of Tibetan wisdom: bilingual books, mantras and songs, our charity work for aid projects – and language learning that builds bridges between Tibet and the world.
Learning Languages – Building Bridges
Language connects people. Learning the language of a new home makes it easier to find work, friends and a place in the community – and learning Tibetan opens the door to a rich culture. That is how we build bridges in both directions.
Our free learning apps with Tibetan explanations, phonetics and audio run on any phone – even offline:
- Tibetan – German A2
- Tibetan – German B2 (Swiss citizenship)
- Tibetan – English A2
- German – Tibetan A2 (new: learn Tibetan as a German speaker)
Coming soon: English – Tibetan.
New: Lungta
Eight stories the wind carries to the heart. Join Pema the little cloud, Norbu the young yak, Wöser the turtle and Wangmo the pika on their adventures. Bilingual in English and Tibetan, with phonetics for reading aloud together.
Now on Amazon: English Edition · German Edition
A Lotus in Every Heart
Discover the world of Tibetan mantras, prayers and living customs – with explanations of rituals and festivals such as Losar and Saga Dawa, and gentle impulses for reflection and mindfulness in everyday life.
Coming soon on Amazon – in English and German («Ein Lotus in jedem Herzen»).
For a Good Cause
Every book and every song does good: 20 to 100 percent of our proceeds go directly to our non-profit association «Pema & Yula Hilfswerk», based in Wittnau, Switzerland. It supports aid projects in India, Nepal and Tibet – for education, health, food and shelter – and helps Tibetans integrate in Switzerland. Thank you for being part of this vision.
